Headerissäni oleva koru on varmaa mysteeri kaikille. Voisin vähän avata tuota möhkälettä nyt. Tein 2010 koulun kritiikkitehtävään “Ornamentti”, neljän korun sarjan kivestä. Minulle ornamentti oli sitä että muodostan itse kivestä ornamenttejä, käyttäen hyväksi kuvioita mitä siinä jo on.
The picture in my header must be a mystery to all. I wanna take the time out to open it up a bit 
. I made to our school critique in 2010 titled “Ornament” a serie of four stone jewelry pieces. To me ornament was to form ornaments myself from the patterns on the stone that it already has in it.
Tässä kuvassa on tuo mystinen koru vielä riipus asteella. Myöhemmin siihen liittyi ruskea makeanvedenhelmistä punottu ketju. Elikkä kivi on marmorikalkkikiveä (ylläri!) ja muoto tulee siitä että halkaisin kiven strategisesti osiin jotta voin tehdä siitä melko symmetrisen palan liittämällä kaksi palaa yhteen liimalla, tätä saumaa ei kyllä näy koska olen LOISTAVA liimaaja, ja liima ei ole synti ! 
In this picture the mystic creature is still on a pendant state, later on it became attached to a brown knotted freshwater pearl chain. The stone is marble-limestone (surprise!) and the shape of the piece comes from that I cut the stone strategically so i can slice it up and make a kind of symmetrical piece by glueing the slices together. You cant of course see the glue seam that well cos I’m really good at what I do…and glue is not a sin!
Etuosa on siis kiveä, ja mikä nyt näkyy kuvassa on takapuoli. Tosin se on vain miun mielipide koska tein tätä sarjaa hieman taka-osa painotteisesti, mutta olen sitä mieltä että kumpikin puoli on hyvin käyttökelpoinen, ja kantaja saa käyttää korua juuri niinpäin kuin haluaa. Tämä takapuoli on siis hopeakehikkö, jossa filigraanikoristeet. Ja kyllä, olen tehnyt kaikki nuo osat itse alusta lähtien, ja se oli hyvin tuskaista ja vaikeaa…. hyvin ohut hopeanauha kun ei tykkää liiasta lämmöstä vaan sulaa ennenkuin juotepasta! Nämä oli tosin ensimmäisiä filigraanejani, kyllä senkin varmasti oppisi hallitsemaan ajan kanssa.
So the front part is only stone, and what you see in the header is backside. Although, thats only my opinion on which side you use as the front, I was kind of backside oriented in these pieces. Both of the sides can be very well used as the front, it totally depends on the person wearing the necklace Backside has a silver frame with filigree. And yes, I did all these parts myself from start, and it was painful and hard! Very thin silver string and heat don’t go well together in my hands.. I tend to melt the silver before soldering paste! These were although my first filigree ever, and I’m sure it’s another thing you will learn with practice.
